Mission Accomplished: Fusion @ Club 360By Miss L'Amour
March 25, 2010
With DJ Calvin Harris
Friday, March 12 had finally arrived – us Angels couldn’t wait to groom our wings and polish our halos for an extra-special night that we’d been looking forward to.
Fusion, the club night at Club 360 in the Reading University’s Students’ Union, was welcoming a very special guest DJ, Calvin Harris.
He’s an international superstar and Brit nominee and is famous for his hits I Get All The Girls and Acceptable in the 80s, to mention a few.
So it’s not surprising that when we arrived the club was full to capacity, with a 1,500 ticket sell-out on the night with most tickets sold in advance.
The buzz of the crowd was electric and they had been already warmed up by supporting DJs not to be missed – Tina Martin, HouseSick and Mr Fidget.
DJs Marc, David and Ashley from HouseSick tell us they smashed it with their house/electro set.
For all you Angels making a night of it, there were specials at the bar. They included a pint of Carlsberg just £2, a pint of Snake Bite at £1.90 and vodka and mixer was £2. Just what we needed for some quick refreshers before heading back to party.
Cat and Becca, now ex-uni students, were excited to be here to party. Margaret, Susan and Zacherias tell us they’re having a beast of a time.
The club was alive with anticipation for Calvin’s exclusive set and he didn’t disappoint. The crowd hit the heavens as us Angels joined the good party people having a terrific time.
What better way to unwind and let loose on a Friday night than by hitting the dance floor?
After a night of full-on partying, Calvin Harris brought his set to a climax with his hit I Get All the Girls – and the crowd went wild.
