REVELLERS had their first opportunity to check out Guildford’s newest late-night venue at the weekend.

Last Friday about 100 people enjoyed the atmosphere at the launch party of Tickled Ivory, a new piano bar in Onslow Street, Guildford.

Guests were entertained by a pianist and drummer who played throughout the evening. The Corona Girls also made an appearance at the event.

Tickled Ivory serves a huge range of drinks, including 200 different spirits, and has an extensive wine and cocktail lists. The live music venue also serves stone-baked pizzas all day until 10.30pm.

Live music will be played at Tickled Ivory every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. The musicians play music with a jazz, funk, soul and blues vibe and are among the most renowned in Europe.

The town centre bar is open every day from noon and admits people aged 21 and over.

Closing times are as follows: Monday to Wednesday at midnight, Thursday at 1am, Friday and Saturday at 3am, and Sunday at midnight.
