Hue and Cry, one of the country’s best loved bands, are back with a bang, returning with their brand new studio album ‘Hot Wire’.

Recorded with their full band line up, brothers Pat and Greg Kane have delivered an incredible set of recordings reminiscent of Stevie Wonder, Sly and the Family Stone, Steely Dan and early New Orleans inspired funk. ‘Hot Wire’ is available to own as a CD, digital download and as part of a Limited Edition Ultimate Collector’s Box – with all manner of treasured treats inside. The album has already found praise amongst some of the UK’s most influential musical figure heads, such as Jools Holland who described the album as an “excellent collection of superb tracks”.

To mark the release of the album, Hue and Cry are taking to the road on the ‘Hot Wire Stripped’ Tour to perform several intimate ‘stripped’ down shows around the country in April and May. The tour is set to be one of the best experiences yet, featuring countless favourite songs along with material from the new album. Speaking of the ‘Hot Wire Stripped’ tour Pat and Greg Kane discussed their love of taking to the road.

‘‘We are really looking forward to the tour, hitting the road and meeting all our fans. More often than not we come across a few familiar faces from tours past!”’ says Pat.

Brother Greg adds “We really enjoy the intimate set up of the ‘stripped’ performances, sometimes there is nothing quite like sitting with my bro and playing the songs just the two of us, it gives them a new lease of life on stage.”
