Volunteers make new footbridge in Joel Park

By Laura Herbert
March 18, 2013

Members of Holt Copse Conservation Volunteers (HCCV) swapped their saws for hammers and screwdrivers to create a new footbridge.

A small team worked to construct the bridge across a muddy perimeter ditch in Joel Park on Saturday and Sunday.

The volunteers turned their hands to DIY to improve public access to Holt Copse Local Nature Reserve in Wokingham.

The HCCV activities are open to people of all ages with an interest in conservation and the local environment. For more information visit www.hccv.org.uk.
