Young people can enjoy a dragon-inspired read and daring dragon stories and crafts at libraries this half term.
Daring Dragons, a themed stories and crafts session, for children aged 12 and under for £1 will take place at the following libraries:
n Wokingham Library, in Denmark Street, on Monday from 2.30pm to 3.30pm
n Twyford Library, in Polehampton Close, on Tuesday from 10.30am to 11.30am
n Maiden Erlegh Library, in Silverdale Road, on Tuesday from 2.15pm to 3.15pm
n Wargrave Library, in Church Street, on Wednesday, February 20, from 10.30am to 11.30am
n Spencers Wood Library, in Basingstoke Road, on Thursday, February 21, from 10.15am to 11.15am
n Lower Earley Library, in Chalfont Way, on Thursday, February 21, from 10.30am to 11.30am
n Finchampstead Library, in Gorse Ride North, on Thursday, February 21, from 2.15pm to 3.15pm
n Winnersh Library, in Robin Hood Lane on Friday, February 22, from 10am to 11am
n Woodley Library, in Headley Road, on Friday, February 22, from 10.30am to 11.30am
To celebrate the Arts in the Library exhibition at Woodley Library, artist Cathy MacLennan will show illustrations from her children’s books, along with an interactive storytelling session with her book Monkey, Monkey, Monkey on Wednesday, February 20, from 11am.
The Children’s Origami Club takes place at Wokingham Library on Thursday, February 21, from 10.30am to 11.30am. There is a 50p charge.
A Children’s Games Club for over sevens can enjoy board games at Finchampstead Library every Monday from 3.30pm to 4.30pm and at Wargrave Library every Friday, 4pm-5.30pm.
