Volunteers wanted in Twyford to help clear up litter
By Jon NurseJanuary 29, 2013
Watchful volunteers are needed to help keep Twyford clear of litter.
Twyford Village Partnership’s environment group leader Sue Goddard is looking for more people to join an ‘adopt a street’ scheme and keep the village looking its best.
The group has 26 dedicated volunteers, but there are a number of roads in Twyford and Ruscombe where help is still required.
Mrs Goddard said: “You can choose to go out whenever it is most convenient and Wokingham Borough Council will supply hi-vis jackets, metal litter pickers and special green plastic refuse bags.”
