Entries for this year’s Wokingham Half Marathon are now closed.
All 3,000 spaces for the annual event on Sunday, February 10, have been filled.
Runners who were unable to get a place this year can secure entry to the 2014 marathon if they volunteer as a marshal this year.
The race will start at 10am in Cantley Park and take runners along Bell Foundry Lane, Warren House Lane, Maidenhead Road and along lanes in Sherlock Row and Hurst.
Last year’s winner Phil Wicks is going for a hat trick and hopes break his own course record of one hour, three minutes and 11 seconds and claim the £500 cash prize.
His wife Emily is also running and is one of the favourites in the women’s race.
Organisers have thanked sponsors,Mizuno, David Cliff, Zone Securities, Mazfit, Roger Duckworth, Mitsubishi Motors and Wokingham Borough Council for assistance.
