Carol singers perform at IQ Winnersh Christmas Fair
December 21, 2012
Little carol singers saw that business isn’t all work and no play as they performed at a Christmas fair.
Guests at the IQ Winnersh business park fair snacked on a Christmas-themed buffet lunch, browsed stalls and listened to carols by Bearwood Primary School choir.
More than 1,100 employees savoured the festive cheer at the fair held by the business park’s owner SEGRO.
Jo Garner, school music leader, said: "The choir have been finely tuning their voices and were really excited to be performing to the workforce based at the park.
"It was a great opportunity to give the children a glimpse of the working world."
SEGRO used the fair as an opportunity to present a £200 cheque to the primary school.
SEGRO’s regional director Kate Dean added: "These festive celebrations allow the business park customers to come together and network, share knowledge and business opportunities.
"We are keen to promote a healthy work/life balance by hosting events and offering amenities at the business park, making IQ Winnersh more than just a place of work."
