50 people head to CAB annual meeting

By Laura Herbert
September 18, 2012

Almost 50 people attended Wokingham Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) annual meeting.

The bureau, which is based in Market Place, held the meeting at The Cornerstone, in Norreys Avenue, on Friday, August 31.

John Ferguson, chief executive, said: “It went very well and we had lots of positive feedback from the people who were there about what we are doing and what we are planning to do.

“We don’t know how our funding is going to be coming from Wokingham Borough Council. We have been told it will be some kind of commissioning project, so we can’t say exactly what we are planning on doing for the next year. If the funding is reduced we may have to reduce our services.”
