Fun and games at Woodbury House Care Home

By Laura Herbert
September 11, 2012

Families and residents at a Farley Hill care home took part in a range of games during a summer garden party, despite the rain.

Relatives of people living at Woodbury House Care Home helped raise around £250 for the home, in Jouldings Lane, during the event on Saturday, August 25.

Visitors, including mayor of Wokingham borough Councillor Bob Wyatt, took part in name the teddy bear, guess the weight of the home’s rabbit, hook a duck and face painting. Homemade cakes were also on sale to raise money.

Manager Rozina Ali said: “The mayor spoke to many of the family members and the residents who really enjoyed sitting with him and chatting.”
