Film makers play starring role for charity

By Laura Herbert
September 03, 2012

Members of Reading Film and Video Makers raised more than £110 for charity.

Several members of the club gathered at the Wokingham home of one member on August 14 and each contributed £5 to raise funds for Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance.

Hostess Anne Massey said: “The experienced members are so willing to share their knowledge with anyone who is keen to learn. I have made a range of films since joining, from holiday and family films to documentaries. The club competitions are great fun to enter, and you learn such a lot from others peoples’ entries.”

A six-week beginner course at the club starts on September 18, costing £25. Visit www.readingfilmandvideomakers.org.uk.
