The sun shone on the 99th Hurst Horticultural & Cottage Garden Society Show.
Visitors enjoyed a range of exhibits while Waltham St Lawrence Silver Band provided musical entertainment during the show at Hurst Village Hall, in School Road.
As well as prize-winning flowers and vegetables, the hall was filled with a stalls selling cakes, crafts and local produce.
Rita Bunyard, society secretary and show organiser, said: “From the gardener’s point of view it had been difficult with the changeable weather we have had over the last few months, but the judge was impressed he was with quality of the exhibits.”
