By Laura Herbert
May 15, 2012

Community groups in Wokingham have until the end of this month to apply for a grant for a conservation project that benefits wildlife and people.

The Dorothy Morley Conservation Awards from Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust give £1,000 and £500 grants to groups involved with activities that encourage community involvement in environmental projects.

For an application pack call (01628) 829 574 or write to Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust, Woolley Firs, Cherry Garden Lane, Maidenhead, SL6 3LJ.

The closing date for applications is Thursday, May 31, and the winners will be announced in July.

The awards are a tribute to the memory of dedicated Berkshire conservationist Dorothy Morley, and are made possible thanks to the generosity of her family.

For more information call Rhiannon Harrington, community wildlife officer on 01628 829574, email dmawards@bbowt.org.uk or visit www.bbowt.org.uk
