A small charity helping stroke victims and the disabled is appealing for kind-hearted folk from Crowthorne to come along and help out.
The Crowthorne Stroke and Disabled Club is looking for more helpers to work with the charity’s 20 members around the local area.
The group needs help at events for its members, including serving drinks and helping with quizzes.
Claire Lewis said: “We need more people to help with such things as serving refreshments, helping with quizzes and generally socialising with our members.”
“We particularly need extra help on outings to push wheelchairs, help members with their meals and to assist them on and off the transport.”
The club meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at the Morgan Centre in Wellington Road.
Every month the group takes members on outings like pub lunches and garden centre visits.
Claire said: “If anyone could spare a few hours once a month, on a Thursday morning, we would be very glad of their help”.
