Teams clean up Finchampstead's streets

Volunteers helped spruce up Finchampstead on Sunday as part of the borough’s Big Tidy Up.

Items including tyres and discarded barbecues were collected by the team of community litter pickers, who started from the community house in Billing Avenue.

The litter pick was the first event of dozens planned for parishes across the borough this month.

Twyford volunteers will gather at Loddon Hall car park in Loddon Hall Road on Sunday, March 25, from 10am. For more details contact John Jarvis at johnljarvis@talk21.com
