Meeting on bereavement

A charity supporting children who have suffered a bereavement and their families will hold a conference at a Wokingham hotel next month.

Daisy’s Dream, which is based in London Road, Twyford, will host the conference for professionals working with children at the Hilton St Anne’s Manor in London Road on Tuesday, October 14.

Michael Rose, the children’s laureate, will speak during the morning about his experiences of bereavement. His son Eddie died suddenly at the age of 18 from meningococcal septicaemia.

Detective Inspector Mark Davis, from Thames Valley Police, will also address delegates at the event.
