Let the networking begin

BUSINESS leaders from across the Thames Valley got to mingle over lunch at a Reading restaurant.
Company decision makers met at the Renaissance Hotel, in Oxford Road, as part of the newly-launched Reading Business Network.
The monthly event, which was held for the second time in Reading on Thursday last week, aims to give business leaders a forum to make contacts in an informal environment.
Mark Tanner, Business Network's director for the South East, said: "The whole purpose of the Business Network is to get decision makers talking to decision makers and creating a meeting place where they can engage with the people necessary to help them move their business forward."
The group is part of a national organisation which started 11 years ago and has a membership of more than 3,500 businesses.
