Travel firm is on the move

A READING company that organises corporate travel celebrated its 10th anniversary on Thursday last week by moving into brand new offices.
Uniglobe Travel, which was created as a start-up by retired army officer Barry Baty, relocated to state-of-the-art offices in Queen's Wharf, Queen's Road - complete with the latest technology.
Mr Baty's business has an annual turnover of £13 million and has been so successful that he has opened further offices in London and Plymouth.
John Madejski, Reading Football Club chairman, and Reading 107fm presenter Steve Mason did the honours and cut the ribbon to officially open the new premises.
Managing director Mr Baty, said: "Our continued success has been the ability to adapt to the ever-changing needs of travellers.
"Our new high-tech travel management centre provides the means to maximise the cost and control imperatives for customers of any size while maintaining that very important personal touch.
"We are delighted that so many came along to support us on our special day."
