ENGINEER Philip Tandy, from Hurst, has been presented with his certificate for membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).

Mr Tandy, who works for BABTIE Group in London, received the certificate from ICE President Mark Whitby at the professional body's headquarters in Westminster.

Membership is awarded to civil engineers who achieve chartered status and the formal qualification is internationally respected.
