STAFF and customers at a Reading

plumbing and heating merchants tapped into a generous streak when they raised £2,000 for multiple sclerosis sufferers.

The cash came from plumbers and

heating installers. They simply radiated goodwill at social events organised by Plumb Center for trade customers who are members of their customer club.

Plumb Center sales manager Eric Twitchen said: "I would like to thank all our colleagues in the industry for contributing their donations. It is a very worthy cause and we were delighted to help."

Plumb Center has branches in Reading at Mayfield Industrial Estate and Stadium Way Industrial Estate and is a supplier of plumbing and heating equipment to the building industry and to members of the public.
