A READING conservatory firm's dazzling profit increase has been put down to its new image.

Spaceage, of Hyperion Way, designs and builds conservatories, doors and windows for the home.

In the last year its parent company Rok Property Solutions, which also owns Theale-based firm Rokbuild, saw its annual turnover rise 20 per cent to £66.8 million and pre-tax profits increase by 47 per cent to £1.8 million.

Rok chairman Bob Carlton-Porter says Spaceage's success has been crucial and will help safeguard the company as it develops.
