GOLDEN Retriever Oscar proved you can teach an old dog new tricks when he helped Camelot relaunch the lottery in Reading.

Owner Margaret Clarkson is hoping Oscar will bring her a ‘lotto' luck. They were joined at Forbury Gardens by dog trainer Steve Fryer, who began teaching Oscar how to select numbers for the lottery.

Almost £30million has been spent launching Lotto the new name for the National Lottery game held every Wednesday and Saturday.
