A THEALE business centre celebrated a year in pole-position with Champagne and fast cars this week.

Asmec Reading business centre in Merlin House, Theale, has been operating successfully for a year and toasted its success, and its three year sponsorship deal with a Formula Renault car and driver.

Both the car and driver, Mark Griffin, were at Monday's celebration, together with Asmec's managing director David Janes and a taxi bearing Asmec advertising.

A spokesman for the centre said: "Asmec lets out office space and after one year it is 75 per cent

occupied.

"We held this Champagne reception to celebrate that success."
