Generous staff dig in

31/12/2001

MICROSOFT workers excelled themselves with a garden make-over at a children's unit.

The team of volunteers from the giant computer company spent a day at the Dingley Family and Play Therapy Group organised by the Make a Difference Team - Wokingham's volunteer

development agency.

The eight-strong team painted a fence alternate colours, built an outside cupboard for toys and a bird table, cleared the garden of leaves and debris and dug and planted a flower bed round the garden.

Sue Jordan, playleader at the centre which offers respite for families with special needs

children under five, said: "I am really touched by their kindness and thrilled with the results of the teams efforts."
