A THAMES Valley catering company has won a national award for customer service.

Charlton House Catering, of Wyfold, south Oxfordshire, won The Daily Telegraph/Energis Customer Service Awards 2001 from 60 shortlisted

organisations.

Company chief executive Robyn Jones was presented with her award on Wednesday at a gala event in Kensington.

Kelvin Hussey, director of customer service at Energis , who chaired the judging panel, said: "Charlton House Catering really stood out because their customer service has led to a positive increase in turnover with clients."

Ms Jones said: "It may sound like a cliché but we really do put great emphasis on constructive partnerships with clients."
