Fancy dress party for Curves seventh birthday

Fancy dress was the order of the day as a women’s fitness club held a party to celebrate its seventh birthday.
Staff and members at Curves, in Denton Road, enjoyed a Black ‘n’ Bling evening lastWednesday.
The club has gone from strength to strength since its inception, winning second place in the Best Club In Europe award and Curvette Of The Year.
The club has helped many people reach their fitness targets, with members losing a total of 4,500lb and a massive 9,800 inches between them.
Bev Gellard, managing director of Curves, said: “We think this proves that no matter what your goal is, whether it’s losing 10lb or 50lb, or if it’s helping 1,000 members realise their well-being and fitness goals, everything can be accomplished with small, reasonable goals and perseverance.”
