Love in the air on Valentine's Day in BracknellBy Jennie Slevin

The love bug descended on Bracknell as unsuspecting shoppers were lavished with offers, prizes and gifts on Valentine's Day.
Shoppers were asked to stop texting their partners and instead use their mobile phones to scan QR codes as part of a competition, which saw someone win a trip for two to Paris last Thursday.
Valentine’s Day in Bracknell was made all the more special when Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (BRP) sent its two golden cupids into Princess Square handing out chocolates and posing for photos.
Snaps of the loved-up and the lonely were uploaded onto the Love Bracknell Facebook page and everyone pictured is now in with a chance of winning a prize.
The photographs are all receiving ‘Likes’ on Facebook and the picture with the most likes at 5pm on Friday will win £200 in vouchers to spend in Bentalls.
Rob Morris, general manager of BRP, said: “With activities and competitions like this, we continue to give the people of Bracknell more reasons to support their town centre and shop locally.”
