World leading sweetener company takes up home in IQ Winnersh

IQ Winnersh is enjoying the sweet smell of success with the news that another world leading company is to move in.

PureCircle (UK) Ltd, the world’s largest supplier of stevia, a natural sweetener, to the food and beverage industry, is the latest firm to take space at the business park, joining the likes of Virgin Media, Jacobs, Qliktech and Harris Systems.

Originally founded in Malaysia, PureCircle’s new 2,600 sq ft site at IQ Winnersh will be the base for their European Head Office and Technical Applications laboratory.

   You can start with saccharine which was the original artificial sweetner made from coal tar and move on to its many more modern replacements.

   Good news, but hasnt Virgin Media quitely moved out? Their unit seems empty.
