Business in Berkshire show today
June 21, 2012
Companies from all over East Berkshire will be exhibiting at The Business in Berkshire Expo at Blue Mountain Golf and Conference Centre today.
Organisations from Reading including APC Schneider Electric, Devine Travel, iNetria Ltd, Reading College, Best of Reading and newly promoted Reading FC will be featured alongside companies from the rest of the county.
Products and services from websites, IT and social media, printing and design, venues and events, corporate lunches and further education, accountancy and telecoms will all be on show.
An extensive programme of seminars and panel discussions will focus on motivation and inspiration as their main themes, while speed networking events will provide the opportunity for visitors to meet one-to-one and exchange contact details with dozens of other local business owners and managers.
An early pre-show session of speed networking following a bacon roll and a drink sponsored by the FSB started proceedings at 8.30. A further free speed networking session takes place early afternoon.
Social Media figures highly on the programme with a free seminar discussion at 1.00pm chaired by the show’s promoter, Jon Davey, who recently won the Social Media Personality of the Year Award. More intensive workshop sessions on how to get the most out of LinkedIn will run throughout the day.
Business in Berkshire Expo is the place to be for any small or medium sized organisation in Berkshire. Admission is free, parking is free and most of the seminar and discussion sessions are free.
Business in Berkshire is sponsored by Social Media Directors, FSB and Thames Valley Berkshire LEP with media partners Reading Post, Bracknell Standard and The Wokingham Times.
The Business in Berkshire Expo is at Blue Mountain Golf & Conference Centre, Binfield, RG42 4EX between 9.30 and 4.30 today.
