New partner at Clifton Ingram’s corporate services

Thames Valley law firm Clifton Ingram have announced the appointment of John Barker as a partner in its corporate services department.

Barker will be based in the firm’s Reading office.
 
As part of Clifton Ingram’s corporate services team, he will work on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters including M&A transactions, property and equity funding/investments, shareholder agreements and consumer credit issues, in addition to his finance practice.
 
Barker was previously a partner at both Boyes Turner and Osborne Clarke in Reading.
 
He said: “In these tough economic times, obtaining funding and making wise investments has never been as important, and I look forward to working with the Clifton Ingram team to develop our offering to the banking and business community in the Thames Valley, and assist in the growth of our Reading presence.”
