A global networking company has set up a new regional briefing centre in Bracknell.

The mayor of Bracknell Forest, Councillor Chris Turrell, and mayoress Diana Henfrey officially opened Brocade’s new centre in London Road.

The company also unveiled its Innovation Centre where customers can find out about how networking environments can be designed.

Michael Klayko, CEO of Brocade, said: “These investments are aimed at achieving our company’s goal of constantly enhancing our ability to serve the needs of our customers worldwide.

“These regional briefing centres make it easier for our non-US customers to do business with us by enabling them to interact with our staff in their home region.”

Cllr Turrell accepted a cheque for £5,000 for his chosen charity Age Concern Bracknell Forest.

Who are Brocade? Networking? Why do the people of Bracknell want to know about this. You don't publish an article about those nice little specialist food shops that opened up in Market street and are putting a bit of life back into the place and are actually of use to the population of Bracknell.
