New shops and classes for Bracknell town centre

By Laura Herbert
November 17, 2011

Three new businesses are set to open in Bracknell town centre.

Matrix Retail will bring some festive cheer to Charles Square with its one-stop shop for Christmas decorations and gifts, and Walmsley Furniture returns to Broadway with a range of sofas, bedroom and living and dining room furniture.

Also in Broadway, Warfield and District Churches Group will run educational classes and activities with the aim of bringing the church closer to the community.

Helen Barnett, marketing manager at Bracknell Regeneration Partnership, said: “We are delighted to welcome the arrival of these new stores to the town. We are positive this will provide shoppers with even more reason to visit Bracknell this Christmas.”

At least it is long term support for the town centre not a seasonal discount retailer, a shop attracted by low rent or another charity shop.
