Profit drop for Morgan Sindall

An office design specialist has recorded profits of £51.5 million before tax – down from £71.4 million in 2008.
Morgan Sindall, the parent company of Morgan Lovell, which has offices in Finchampstead Road, has described the set of preliminary results for the year ending in December last year as “robust”.
Since August 2009, the firm has secured new contracts worth £26.5 million in total turnover.
Andrew Bradley, regional managing director for Morgan Sindall, said: “Despite challenging business conditions, we were able to secure a number of exciting new schemes in 2009 and we expect demand in the market to improve this year.
“Our industry-leading reputation as experts in sustainable workplace transformation continues to make us an attraction proposition for clients who are choosing to revamp their existing office space in favour of moving to new premises.”
