Contract success for CBS

March 15, 2010

An Ascot company has been helping out global firms with office refurbishments.

Bracknell-based pharmaceuticals company Boehringer Ingelheim and Basingstoke-based computer game chain Game have both turned to CBS for help.

CBS, based in Kennel Ride, won a competitive tender to completely refurbish the washroom facilities at Boehringer Ingelheim’s Ellesfield Avenue HQ.

Chris Grail, Boehringer Ingelheim’s projects and technical support manager, said: “We were impressed with the quality of CBS’ tender. Their understanding of the requirements was excellent.”

CBS completed the project last month.

Game turned to CBS to create space at its Basingstoke base to accommodate growing staff numbers with workers coming down from York after Game bought out rival Gamestation.

A CBS spokesman said: “We were commissioned to manage the move, providing space and supplying new office furniture.

“This entailed the removal of 11 meeting rooms to make way for the additional desks and the conversion of space to allow for future expansion.

“Other works, including the expansion of the on-site Bistro-style dining area have been completed, recently bringing the project to a successful conclusion.”
