Health club staff will be building up a sweat to raise cash for breast cancer.
Bosses at Pulse 8 Health and Fitness Club have set an ambitious fundraising target of £1 million – and won’t stop until they get every penny.
This includes the launch of a ‘pink’ membership scheme with £5 a month of the membership fees going directly to breast cancer awareness charities.
The campaign marks the opening of the new ladies-only fitness suite at the Mole Road complex in Sindlesham, where sporty women can boost the health of the charity’s coffers as well as their own.
The adjacent Nirvana Spa will also be supporting the fundraising scheme and is calling on members to come up with money-making ideas.
“We are determined that this initiative is a success and will be working with the appropriate charities to raise as much money as we can,” said chief executive Simon Brown.
“It is a long-term objective to raise £1 million and as well as the club raising funds we are hoping that our members will get on board and help us in our efforts – together we can beat it.”
