Bakery celebrates 3 tasty years

December 14, 2009

Hurst bakery is celebrating its third year of business with some free festive cheer for customers.

Brothers Jitu and Duras Miah, who run the bakery in the Street, will be handing out free tea, coffee and mince pies next week to mark its third birthday.

Jitu said: “The past three years have gone very well and we wanted to thank our customers for their loyalty and support.

“We also want to keep our door open for those who want to come and see what we have to offer.”

The bakery opened in 2006 and has become a key part of the community, featuring in the annual Hurst Country Show and supporting the Post’s Keep Trade Local campaign.

Customers can now hire out Hurst Bakery and Provisions to provide snacks for small parties and corporate events.
