Alworths opens in Wokingham today

Free pic ‘n’ mix is available to celebrate the opening of Alworths today.
The former Woolworths in Peach Street, which has stood empty for almost a year, was reopened by ex-Woolies worker Andy Latham.
Traders welcome Alworths arrival
Shoppers could browse the clothes, home wares, toys and famous sweets, before taking away a free cup of pic ‘n’ mix.
Several members of staff are former Woolworths’ employees, who were made redundant when the company folded last December.
