'Boost Bracknell' bid

Business people and traders are getting together to promote a bid to boost Bracknell and are looking for like-minded people to join them to come up with new ideas.
Richard Knight, vice-chairman of the East Berkshire branch of the Federation of Small Businesses, is keen to get a ginger group going.
The businessman, who runs outdoor advertising company Focal Point Advertising and operates billboards in the town centre, said the focus of the group should be positive.
“We need a lot of shouting from the rooftops, a lot of positive promotion, retailers to be positive and upbeat, and everyone working together to raise the profile in our own local communities,” he said.
