Construction firm Morgan Ashurst is officially a safe pair of hands after winning two leading safety accolades.

The company, based at Theale Lakes Business Park, has collected a prestigious  RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Gold Award and an International Safety gong from the British Safety Council.

It was awarded for its low number of accidents at ceremonies this month.

“This is an excellent achievement and I’m delighted our team has been recognised for our ongoing commitment to the health, safety and welfare of our people, the environment and the communities we impact,” said health, safety and environmental advisor Martin Hall. “We are determined to minimise risk in our workplaces and encourage a culture of excellent health and safety practice.”

The company is a construction partner for a £200 million project with The University of Reading and is working on a £25 million scheme to rebuild Bracknell and Wokingham College.
