Fashionistas can revamp their wardrobes in time for Christmas by heading down to the White Stuff.

The trendy label has unveiled its shop in Gun Street, offering a mix of clothing and accessories for style-conscious men and women.

Established in 1985 by college friends Sean Thomas and George Treves, the White Stuff brand has expanded rapidly and now provides ‘Lovely Clothes for Lovely People’ in 53 UK shops.

Retail director David Abramson said he was delighted to have joined Reading’s retail marketplace.

“Reading has a good retail mix of the old and new, the big and small and I think White Stuff fits in very well,” he said.

“Expect some weird and wonderful window displays, experiential events and activities in-store. We’re known for our quirky mix of eccentric props, furniture and décor.”
