New name in corporate team

Boyes Turner has appointed senior lawyer Evelyn Adfield to join its growing corporate group.
Adfield qualified as a corporate lawyer in 2002 after completing her training with Eversheds LLP in Nottingham.
She joins the corporate group based in Abbey Street, which already includes partners Philip Tranter, Robert Rice and Rachel Fitzpatrick and the recent addition of corporate governance specialist Amanda Cantwell.
Speaking about joining the firm, Adfield said: “I am delighted to be joining such a dynamic and well-regarded team.
“I am looking forward to a role which will enable me to be part of a strong team on big deals, to lead deals myself, and to help to coach and mentor junior members of the team.”
Head of corporate Philip Tranter said: “The team has grown significantly over the past year and Evelyn’s appointment at associate level, with all the experience she brings, is a real coup.”
