Tesco tunes in to music downloads

Tesco has launched its new digital service for customers.
As of next month, Tesco Digital will offer a music download service for iPod and MP3 players, with more than 3.3 million music tracks and more than 100 free playable flash games.
The service, which will be available at the new Tesco Extra store in Portman Road, is just the beginning of a wider Tesco Digital strategy, which will offer episodic TV, films and even games in the near future.
Graham Harris, commercial director at Tesco, said: “We’re starting out with a comprehensive music offering, but customers can expect downloadable TV and films as well as games very soon.”
