Trainees' chance to shine

THE Thames Valley office of national law firm Shoosmiths is this week celebrating the completed traineeships of two of its own rising stars.
Jennifer Argent and Joe Stephenson have now joined the employment and intellectual property teams respectively, signaling continued expansion for the Reading-based legal firm.
The talented duo’s success marks the continued investment Shoosmiths, whose Thames Valley office is at Apex Plaza in Forbury Road in the town centre, makes in its graduate training programme. They are two of nine newly qualified lawyers who have been retained by the firm this year.
Dean Drew, head of the Thames Valley office, said: “We are proud of Jennifer and Joe’s achievements over the past two years. Both have shown determination from day one and are well-liked members of the team.”
