Train firm runner-up

SOUTH West Trains, which operates services through Reading station, has been named runner-up in the Best Rail Operator category at the 2007 Group Travel Awards.
The firm, which won the award last year, was judged on its ability to provide travel for groups of passengers travelling at the same time.
Rob Potter from South West Trains said: “Although we didn’t win, coming runner-up is still a great honour and fantastic recognition of all the hard work the team put in to make sure group days out run as smoothly as possible.”
