SIMPLY A CUT ABOVE THE REST

27/ 2/2002

A group of barbershop singers ensured the opening party at a Winnersh hairdressing salon was a harmonious occasion.

The Reading Barbershop Harmony Club dropped into Man-O-Man, in Reading Road, to sing away last Saturday afternoon and let gents in town know about the new facility.

Nicola Stancombe and business partner Jo Bailey run the shop, which offers a package of beauty and hair treatments for men in need of a treat.

As well as standard haircuts, the girls provide head massages, facials, wet shaving and hot

towels.

Miss Stancombe said: "This is the place to come for any bloke who wants a bit of pampering."

Colleagues from Barclays Bank, which is backing the business, also went to the opening

ceremony.
