POOLING THEIR RESOURCES AT NIRVANA
January 30, 2002
Sindlesham's Nirvana Spa has recently completed its latest expansion project.
The luxury health club now boasts the first-ever flotation pool to be built in the UK.
But bosses say the venture - which cost £3.75 million - would not have been possible without financial support from Lloyds TSB Commercial.
Simon Brown, director of the Mole Road spa, said: "The flotation pools are the first of their kind in the UK and are renowned for their pain and stress-relieving benefits. We knew that demand for such a treatment would be considerable - particularly at this time of year - and we approached the bank with this is mind.
"We wouldn't have undertaken the development without the financial help and sound business support provided by Lloyds TSB Commercial."
Nirvana imported 70 tonnes of salt from the Dead Sea in a bid to re-create the flotation that occurs in the Middle-Eastern sea.
