Residents still have fears over town regeneration

Nearly half of people surveyed about Wokingham’s long-awaited town centre regeneration project are not convinced the proposals are heading in the right direction.

A full report from comments and surveys gathered at Wokingham Borough Council’s exhibition on the scheme last year shows 216 people were not convinced it would create pleasant new retail areas, while 220 people did believe the plan is the right way to go.
